Westonhill Financial was started by Kim Theriault, a native and life long resident of San Diego, California. 

After graduating from Arizona State University in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in business/marketing, Kim returned home to San Diego and began working as an Office Manager for Security Financial. She obtained her real estate broker's license and being entrepreneurial in spirit, she knew that one day she would open her own business.

In the spring of 1991, while driving and considering names for her new mortgage company, she came to a cross-road. Looking up, she saw the street sign, Westonhill. It was at that moment that she named her company.

On September 13, 1991 Westonhill Financial Group opened for business.  
Today, Westonhill's family of companies includes the Real Estate office of Westonhill Properties and the Mortgage Company of Westonhill Financial.
